We all need to eat to live. But we suspect that in your case, it's more like you live to eat.
You don't just enjoy food and drink, for you they're the things that make your life worth living. You know that a good meal, especially when it's paired with a fine beverage, is a happy occasion in itself. If it's shared with the one you love, then you've got a complete little circle of happiness.
You have a firm set of beliefs when it comes to food. Maybe you believe that
bacon makes everything better. Maybe it's your conviction that animals belong on pastures, not plates. You believe that you're never too full for dessert. You also believe that the best way to cook is to do it with grease--or with
wine.
That's right, you cook with wine, and sometimes you even put it in the food. But you prefer to drink it. It may not make the food taste any better but it does wonder for your mood.
Your favorite beverage doesn't have to be alcoholic, and there are many fine drinks you can down that are not. If you have OCD (
obsessive coffee disorder), we're right there with you. If your favorite spot is an overstuffed chair with a and cup of tea and a book beside it, we hear you loud and clear. If you've got books and tea, life is good.
You might skip dinner foods and head straight to the most important meal of the day: dessert. Why eat something that wastes your appetite and takes up stomach space? Life is short; eat
dessert first.
With all that delicious consumption you're doing, you might get people telling you that you better start exercising. Don't let them get to you. Pretend to be interested and then act like you're losing your hearing; try, "Pilates? No thanks. I thought you said pie and lattes." That should confuse them long enough for you to make your getaway.
Exercise is a good idea, sure, but eating is a better one. After all, you want a hot body but you also want tacos. Besides, exercising involves going out in public and some days, all you care about is food and avoiding people. So go ahead and live every day like it's Taco Tuesday.
