Welcome to our Meet The Team series. In this collection of blog posts I will be profiling the members of the I Love Apparel crew. I will ask them some serious and some goofy questions, to help you get to know them a little better.

This week I sat down with Filip. The following is what I found.

What do you do at I Love Apparel?
I am the Lead Graphic Designer, which basically means that were this a war, fought through the means of graphic design, I would be on the frontlines. I lead the designs, graphically. (I design shirts, postcards, business cards, web and social media graphics, etc.)

What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is single-handedly saving the world through the creation of beauty. Also, being able to do what I love as a full-time gig is a life most people only dream of.

Who do you sit closest to, and what impact does that have on your day?
I sit closest to the wall. It whispers to me the secrets of design and how to maintain the facade that I am a normal "human" creature. To my other side is Anna, our Customer Support Representative, which means I am exposed to a significantly larger amount of chicken dances than I would otherwise normally see.

What is your favorite lunch food?
THE SOULS OF A THOUSAND SLAIN WARRIORS! The Chipotle down the street is also a personal favorite. I could eat their burrito bowls every other day.

What is your favorite beverage?
THE BLOOD OF MY ENEMIES! 99 times out of 100, you can catch me drinking some good ol' fashioned, high quality H2O. I don't really believe in drinking your calories (save that for the cheesecake).

What music do you listen to when you need to get stuff done?
Honestly, I just throw on some Hardcore Metal, and headbang my way to success. I find that headbanging is an essential part of productivity, and think more people would lead richer lives if they too, headbanged along to their work.

If you had to wear one of our shirts everyday for a year, which one would it be?
Easy, that would be the "Running Sucks" tee. No truer words were ever spoken, and I feel like that sentiment could easily transcend any event that took place in a year. VALENTINES DAY? Running sucks. THANKSGIVING? Running sucks. BIRTHDAY? Running? Oh yeah. Still sucks.
If you could go back 15 years and share something with yourself, what would it be?
"Do 100 sit-ups every morning, and 100 push-ups every night. By the time you reach high school, you will be unstoppable. And get all the ladies. P.S. Don't stop believing. Hold on to those feelings."

What is your favorite activity outside of the office?
I love drawing, watching movies, spending time with my babe, playing video games, eating, cooking, swimming in rivers, collecting skulls, petting puppies, listening to music, lifting weights, writing poetry, learning piano, starting fires, flint knapping, exploring new places, bouldering, riding my motorcycle, fighting crime, hanging out with my friends, mindlessly scrolling through Instagram. You know, like the average 23 year old.

When did you discover that Logan was the best dart player in the office?
Interesting story, actually. Back in high school, we took a trip down to the museum for history class. In the Ancient Civilizations exhibit, there was a stone tablet that featured a carving of a bearded man, and what appeared to be a primitive dart being released from his hand. The tour guide spoke of a legend, now forgotten, that foretold the coming of a divine guardian that would protect the realm with his mighty dart. His name was "Barba frigus Guido" which roughly translates into "LOGAN."

What is one shirt that you can't believe is as popular as it is?
The "Celebrate Diversity - Beer" shirt. Not that I don't think it should be, I just can't believe it is as popular as it is! That's pretty dope.
Celebrate Diversity - Beer
Well, there you go. A quick look into the mind of our Lead Designer Filip. I hope you enjoyed that as much as we enjoy having Filip as part of the I Love Apparel crew.

That's it for now.
